Grading process changes…

OK now we are training in the Kenilworth club once a week and people are progressing at different rates, we're reverting back to the system of taking gradings that we had in Sussex years ago. This worked well for a very long time. You'll still need the relevant attendance since the last grading, a valid member's licence book, an application form and relevant fee, so the changes are this;

1, the application form will also need a counter-signature from one of the dojo assistant instructors - black belt applications will need at least a 3rd Dan to sign it.

2, you'll be able to apply to take a promotion test at the last session of any month, as long as the above criteria are all met and the application form is submitted at least a week ahead to allow for time to be allocated.

This way, people who are working hard, attending our special Sunday sessions, practicing in their own time and so on, can be able to progress at the appropriate rate for their efforts. Keep up the hard work and aim for your next goal in karate.....
